We love Black Lightning!  The city of Freeland has taken a somewhat dystopian vibe, and when Principal Jefferson Pierce's daughters are kidnapped by the 100 (a pretty rotten gang), he must come out of retirement to kick some ass!  From the gritty locales to the earnest tones, this show out-performs every CW show that has come before it (and in the ratings, too)!  The stakes are high, and there's a lot to be unpacked in the coming episodes, but Black Lightning is (so far) as solid a ride as you'll have from the CW.
